As a youngster Martin didn't like school, he was a rebel and left at age 15. He had to get out of there and start creating.

BMX Ruled.
Big Air and Freedom were the thing! Martin's Dad (a hero himself) drove him and his pals to watch the classic 1983 Film, BMX Bandits, (remember that film?) on the big Odeon screen in Marble Arch, London. This was one of many pivotal moments in Martin's journey of life...
In later years whilst in Hong Kong Martin was working for a well known British company. Whilst reading a book in his hotel room at the Excelsior on Gloucester road, aged 22, he had a light bulb moment and calling...

Martin made a measured calculated decision early on that would shape his life, that decision was to Always Transcend the work play dichotomy.
"They laughed at me when I told them I’d become a Pro Skier and Pro Bagpiper. Then I took to the World Stage... whilst they all went back to their jobs."

Martin re wrote the text book. Being a Renegade, Martin studied at ‘The School of Hard Knocks’, here he observed with an astute conscience.
"I could see, feel and hear what really mattered as a kid. The influence of others was fairly limiting and mostly uninspiring. It was as if the majority were selling their souls to corporations, employers and influenced by peers and were just so far out of their value zone that they had conceded to ordinary."

He climbed the ranks in Skiing fast.
Martin is formerlly one of the fastest downhill skiers in Great Britain (17th), as well as a seasoned slalom and giant slalom ski racer. He's the holder of the toughest to attain skiing diploma, the French BEES 1er degre ski alpin. Having passed the tough giant slalom test de capacite ski race on his first run, Martin knows what it takes to tame the Mountain and master the mind.
